Welcome to the Confident Speaking Club!
By joining our club, you agree to the following terms and conditions designed to make the club a safe, supportive, and productive space for everyone.
- Participation & Attendance
- Members are expected to join sessions on time and stay for the full duration whenever possible.
- To maintain an engaging and personal atmosphere, video must be turned on during all sessions unless there is a valid technical or personal reason.
- Respect & Positive Environment
- We are a judgment-free zone. Criticism should always be constructive and respectful.
- Offensive, discriminatory, or disrespectful language and behavior will not be tolerated.
- Everyone should be given equal speaking opportunities—no interrupting, dominating, or side conversations during someone’s turn.
- Confidentiality
- What’s shared in the club stays in the club. Members must respect the privacy of others and not share personal stories, opinions, or identifiable details outside the group without consent.
- Commitment to Growth
- Members are encouraged to actively participate, try new activities, and step out of their comfort zones.
- Feedback is to be shared kindly, focusing on helping each other grow rather than pointing out flaws.
- Technical Etiquette
- Keep your microphone muted when not speaking to reduce background noise.
- Test your audio and video before each session to ensure smooth participation.
- Breach of Terms
- The club reserves the right to give warnings or, in serious cases, remove members who repeatedly violate these terms.
- Recording & Media Use
- Sessions may be recorded for quality improvement, learning purposes, or promotional use.
- Screenshots, short video clips, or photos from the sessions may be shared on our official Confident Steps and Confident Speaking Club social media platforms and promotional materials.
- By joining the club, you consent to this usage. If you have concerns, please inform the club coordinator before your first session.
